Atypical Community CIC is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to empowering children, young people, and families through creative expression, physical activity, and community connection. We use dance, circus arts, and performance to support wellbeing, confidence, and personal development in schools and local communities.

Our current projects include:

Your Move by Atypical – a children’s dance programme where young people help shape what they
School-Based Dance Programmes – tailored programmes designed to build confidence through dance, creative expression, and performance-making, delivered directly in primary and secondary schools.

Our goal is to create safe, inspiring spaces for people to grow, express themselves, and feel part of something bigger. We believe everyone deserves access to creativity, movement, and community—regardless of background or circumstance.

Whether it’s hip hop, storytelling, stretching, or games — this is your chance to shape the session, share ideas, and move your way. Led by professional facilitators and fuelled by your creativity, Your Move is all about fun, expression, and doing what feels right for you.
