Atypical Community CIC – Dance Class Terms & Conditions & Liability Waiver
General Agreement
By enrolling your child in our dance classes, you agree to the following terms and conditions, and accept full responsibility for the information provided in the registration process.
Health & Safety
• All children participating must be physically able to take part in a dance-based activity.
• Any medical conditions, allergies, or learning needs must be disclosed prior to participation.
• Children should wear appropriate clothing and footwear and bring water to stay hydrated.
• Atypical Community CIC and its instructors are not liable for injuries sustained during class, except were caused by proven negligence.
First Aid
• Qualified first aiders may administer first aid where necessary.
• In the event of a medical emergency, we will contact the emergency services and the parent/guardian immediately.
• You consent to emergency first aid being administered if required.
Photography & Media Permission
• We may occasionally take photos or videos during classes or performances to be used for:
- Promotion on social media and websites
- Community updates
- Funding applications and reports
• Please inform us in writing if you do not give permission for your child to be photographed or recorded. Otherwise, consent is assumed.
Behaviour & Participation
• Atypical Community CIC reserves the right to remove a child from a session if their behaviour puts others at risk or significantly disrupts the group.
• Parents/guardians may be asked to collect their child early in such circumstances.
Cancellations & Refunds
•If you cancel a class or term booking, fees are non-refundable.
•If Atypical must cancel a session (e.g. due to staff illness or venue issue), we will offer an alternative session or credit/refund where appropriate.
•We do not offer refunds for missed sessions due to illness or personal schedule changes unless under exceptional circumstances.
Data Protection
• Personal data provided is used solely for the purpose of delivering classes and communicating updates.
• We never share your information with third parties unless required by law.
• We store information securely in line with GDPR guidelines.
Liability
• Atypical Community CIC, its staff, and volunteers are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings during classes.
• While every effort is made to ensure your child’s safety, participation in physical activity carries inherent risks, which you accept upon registration.
Agreement Confirmation
By completing registration or attending a session, you confirm:
• You have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
• You give permission for your child to participate in the sessions provided by Atypical Community CIC.
